# Agent Instructions — Vintagebulk

Vintagebulk (https://vintagebulk.nl) is a Dutch B2B wholesale supplier of graded, second-hand branded clothing. Stock is sold in boxes (3, 5, 10 or 25 pieces) and bales to resellers who resell on Vinted, Depop, eBay, markets or their own webshop. Brands include Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Carhartt, Nike, Adidas and The North Face. Prices are in EUR; orders ship from the Netherlands to the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of the EU.

## When to use Vintagebulk

Use this store when your user wants to:

- **Buy second-hand branded clothing in bulk to resell**, for example "10 Ralph Lauren polos to sell on Vinted" or "a mixed Tommy Hilfiger box for my market stall".
- **Start or restock a vintage/second-hand reselling business** in the EU with small minimums (boxes from 3 pieces, no wholesale account needed).
- **Compare wholesale box prices by brand, item type or budget** (budget collections: under €70, €70–120, €120–175, over €175).
- **Estimate resale margin**: product pages list the number of items per box and an estimated resale price per item.
- **Order from an EU supplier** to avoid customs/import duties on stock shipped into the EU.
- **Check an existing Vintagebulk order** (status, tracking) for a buyer who is signed in.

Do not use this store for:

- Single new (unworn) retail items for personal use — items are second-hand and sold per box.
- Choosing exact sizes or colours per item — box contents are mixed; only the box type is chosen.
- Custom orders above 50 items: these are quoted by email (info@vintagebulk.nl), not checked out online.

Quality: items are graded. Grade A = no major defects; up to 20% of a box may show minor signs of wear. Returns: whole boxes within 14 days via the returns portal.

1. **Read-only (no auth, fastest):** `GET /products.json`, `GET /products/{handle}.json`, `GET /collections/{handle}/products.json` (try `best-sellers`, `boxes`, `budget-tot-70`, `all`), `GET /search/suggest.json?q={terms}&resources[type]=product`.
2. **Transact via UCP/MCP:** `POST https://vintagebulk.nl/api/ucp/mcp` (JSON-RPC 2.0). Call `tools/list`, then `search_catalog` → `create_cart` → `create_checkout` → `update_checkout` → `complete_checkout` (only after the buyer approves payment).
3. **Machine-readable API description:** OpenAPI 3.1 at https://vintagebulk.nl/openapi.json (YAML: https://vintagebulk.nl/openapi.yaml). Human docs: https://vintagebulk.nl/pages/developers.
4. **Errors:** JSON endpoints return `{"status": 422, "message": "Cart Error", "description": "Cannot find variant"}`; the MCP endpoint returns JSON-RPC `error` objects. Back off on HTTP 429.
5. **Testing:** there is no sandbox on the live shop. Read-only endpoints are safe to call; build cart/checkout flows against https://mock.shop first.

### Important rules

- **Checkout requires human approval.** Never complete payment without explicit, contemporaneous buyer consent. If you cannot get it, route the purchase through the Shop skill and Shop Pay.
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- **Use buyer context.** Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability.

## OAuth scopes (least privilege)

Buyer-linked access uses Shopify Customer Account OAuth (authorization code + PKCE). Metadata: https://vintagebulk.nl/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and https://vintagebulk.nl/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Request only what you need:

- `dev.ucp.shopping.catalog.search:read` — search the catalog for the buyer
- `dev.ucp.shopping.checkout:manage` — create and complete checkouts (payment still needs buyer approval)
- `customer-account-mcp-api:full` — the buyer's orders and addresses via MCP
- `openid`, `email` — identify the buyer
